Why Handsome Meatball?
I get asked all the time, "How did you come up with your company name?" The simple answer -- my wonderful dog Meatball was staring at me as I was on a tight deadline to name my business.
The long answer is that I had been thinking about names for the company for months. I researched competitors and common keywords in the industry. Nothing seemed memorable. I needed a name that I could tell someone at a networking event and have them laugh and remember it instantly. I wanted people to ask about the name and have that moment to be real, breaking out of the routine small talk.

From the start, I have always loved art and art history. As a sculpture artist at the University of Washington, I developed as an artist and creator, exploring the depths of color theory, composition, and influence on society.
My passion for digital art took hold as I continued my studies in design and coding classes. As a special kind of unicorn, I graduated with a BFA in Sculpture and a AA in Digital Arts.
Out of school, I started working for a startup. Being thrown into the deep end most of the time, I expanded my skills and in November 2017, I took my career in a new direction. After seeing a change in the industry, I realized that I could help a lot of small businesses with my skills. This was the beginning of Handsome Meatball.
