HANDSOME MEATBALL?
I started my freelance career in November of 2017 and wanted to have a fresh name for my design company. The name, Handsome Meatball, stuck out to my clients as funny and unusual. My sweet and very handsome dog is named Meatball. It only seemed fitting to name the business after my new co-worker. Yes, it may need some explaining at first, but it is hopefully unforgettable.
Handsome Meatball is a one-woman design firm, for now at least. Coming from a background in sculpture and fine arts from the University of Washington, I’ve always loved color theory with strong spatial awareness. I took this love to the next level by learning how to create digital art.
Graphic design was always missing one element for me, movement. Websites and animations are a more tactile way for people to interact with a brand or story. Video marketing is very important now more than ever as most customers want to see a product in use before they buy.
Many start-up businesses cannot afford all the bells and whistles to advertise their product. My goal is to support the efforts of these companies by working with any budget. Start with a free consultation today. I’ll buy the coffee or beer. 🙂
